AIDING GLOBAL REFORESTAION

Flue HQ Limited have teamed up with One Tree Planted to aid global reforestation! We have pledged that with every commercial order we receive, no matter how big or small, 100 trees will be planted in a range of countries including North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the pacific. The money used to plant the trees comes straight from the profits of each project and gets sent straight to One Tree Planted who do the ground work. By teaming up with One Tree Planted we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and become a carbon neutral company!

REFORESTATION

What is reforestation?

Reforestation is the intentional or natural replenishment of existing forests and woodland that have been diminished, often through deforestation (you can read about deforestation in the below section) but also after clear-cutting. Planting trees is a crucial part of reforestation so, the more we (humanity) do to help the better!

DEFORESTATION

What is deforestation?

Deforestation is the clearing of forests and woodland area for non-forest uses such as building farms, houses, ranches etc.  Forests and woodland areas are being cleared out at a significantly high rate, in fact, we have now lost 46% of the worlds trees since human kind first walked the earth! We currently loose around 15 billion trees per year by tree chopping alone, this may all seem doom and gloom but there is plenty that we can do to replenish the worlds trees and this is why it was so important that we start this project!

BIODIVERSITY

All kinds of  tree species are home to millions of wildlife, creatures and living organisms. When a tree is chopped down there are hundreds of species that loose their home. This is why it is so important we help protect and replenish these forests and woodland areas. Even if we only plant one tree, that's one home for hundreds!

AIR

Did you know? Trees recycle carbon and turn it into oxygen! pretty cool right? We and other animals exhale carbon dioxide, which the trees eat and store the carbon, the trees then produce oxygen for us to breathe - Often known as the Carbon Cycle.Trees also remove other pollutants like nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter from the atmosphere.
