Due to our previous success with One Station Square, we are pleased to announce we have
now received the order for 1 Ashley Road East, which is situated just across the way.
The Ashley Road East complex is made up of an 18 storey tower, a 12 storey tower and a low-rise linking podium. All three structures act together and form around a central court yard with ground floor retail and office space.
This complex is a 183-unit mixed use development in Tottenham Hale and will provide predominantly residential space. The structure is positioned above the Victoria Line spur tunnels so the building has been constructed on vibration pads to combat any/all problems caused by the vibrations.
Flue HQ have been appointed for the design, supply and installation of the commercial flue systems which will be serving, 3.No Hoval Ultragas 500 boilers and 1.No Generator. The boiler flue system will be travelling approximately 43m horizontally and 52m Vertically. The generator flue will be travelling circa 15m horizontally and 52m vertically.
For the boiler application we have selected our Twin Wall Insulated Flue Pipe which is constructed from an inner wall of 0.6mm grade AISI 316L Stainless Steel and a 0.6mm grade 304 external wall. The 25/50mm void is packed with 128kg/m high density rockwool insulation. The joints are push-fit complete with a tri-lip inner silicone ring for a condensing application.
Our product gives a positive pressure resistance of up to 200Pa and a continuous high temperature capability of up to 600° at 200 pascals independently tested to BS476: Part 24 for 4 Hours.
For the generator application we will be using our Generator Flue which is constructed of an AISI316L Steel Inner and a AISI304 Steel Outer. It provides a positive pressure resistance of up to 5,000 Pascals.
