Project Name: Dartford Energy
Project Manager: Nathan Lawley
We were thrilled to have been selected for the flue works at Dartford Energy centre in Kent, and are pleased to say that the project was concluded within one week from the date of order.
This particular Farm is part of the grain industry and is responsible for the growth of cereals, leguminous crops and oil seeds.
Our part of the works for this project
included the:
- Design, supply and installation of 2.No flue systems.
- Supply and installation of all steel works.
- Access supply for both the indoor installation and exterior roof works.
- Roof works and final weathering.
The flue systems were designed to serve 2No. Biomass boilers and the product range selected was our DW, Twin Wall Insulated Flue Pipe.
This product range is constructed from an inner wall of 0.5mm grade AISI 316L Stainless Steel and a 0.5mm grade 304 external wall. The 30mm void is packed with 128kg/mhigh density rockwool insulation. The joints are push-fit complete with a tri-lip inner silicone ring for a condensing application.
Our DW product gives a positive pressure resistance of up to 200Pa and a continuous high temperature capability of up to 600° at 200 pascals independently tested to BS476: Part 24 for 4 Hours.
Also required were our draft stabilisers and regulators to aid in any build up of pressure in the systems.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with our client on this project and are both thrilled with the outcome, we hope to work with them again in the near future.
