Flue HQ were recently appointed for the design, supply and installation of the commercial flue works at Isle Court Care Home in Shrewsbury.
This recently transformed care home comprises of 79 en-suite bedrooms, four luxury dinning areas, seven lounge areas, two sensory spa rooms, a café, three cinema rooms, a hairdressing salon and is surrounded by country side views and private gardens.
Our engineers had to work around the previous flue system as it could not be turned off until the new system had been installed. As you can see in the pictures we were working with a very small space but managed to execute the system with no problems.

We selected our MF/ME Twin Wall Insulated Flue Pipe which is serving 2No. NPE 32 Water Heaters.
his product range is constructed from an inner wall of 0.5mm grade AISI 316L Stainless Steel and a 0.5mm grade 304 external wall. The 25mm void is packed with 128kg/m high density rockwool insulation.
Our MF/ME product gives a positive pressure resistance of up to 5000Pa and a continuous high temperature capability of up to 600° at 5000 pascals independently tested to BS476: Part 24 for 4 Hours.
The flue system was traveling approximately 5m horizontally and 9m vertically.
