Their existing flue system, connected to a masonry chimney, was not only non-compliant with regulations but also underperforming. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Plymouth Marine Lab turned to us to find a reliable and efficient solution.
As soon as we received the call, our team of experts sprang into action. We conducted a comprehensive site visit to gain a thorough understanding of the lab's unique requirements and challenges. We carefully engineered the flue systems to connect seamlessly with their two high efficiency, low NOx emission Hoval 500 SR Boilers.
One of the key challenges we faced was determining the best route for the flue systems. Through meticulous planning and consultations with the lab, we devised a design that would see the flue systems passing through the plant room before elegantly exiting the facility, rising 20m with a 2m offset. This thoughtful approach ensured a smooth integration of the flue systems within the lab's infrastructure.
With the design in place, we swiftly moved on to the installation phase. Our highly skilled and dedicated team executed the project with utmost professionalism. We utilized top-of-the-line materials and adhered to all applicable regulations to ensure a quality installation.
