Flue HQ Limited were selected to design, supply & install the flue system at Scotway House student accommodation block in Glasgow.
The project consists of the construction of a new build 403 No. Student Accommodation block with ancillary and communal areas including retail units and external areas.
Our part of the works was to design, supply, install & test the new flues at the above project. Flue HQ Limited completed the works within the time scale and within budget. We worked closely with the M&E company Stothers Building Engineering Services to ensure the project was completed swiftly and safely.
The flue systems installed serve 3No. Eco Shield condensing boilers and 2No. low temperature CHP units.
The product range selected for the boilers was our DWJ stainless steel prefabricated exhaust system complete with an inner silicone ring for the condensing application. The product is capable of holding up to 200Pa and a continuous high temperature capability of up to 600° at 200Pa.
