We are pleased to inform you that Flue HQ have completed the works at One Station Square in Tottenham.
This single project is one of many which has been on going from 2020 and will be continuing through 2021as part of the Tottenham Hale dynamic masterplan, this project will be one of the very first developments to be delivered as part of this masterplan. One Station Square will deliver 117 Shared Ownership and 11 private sale homes, which will be offering a collection of beautifully designed one, two - and three - bedroom affordable apartments. Priority will be given to buyers who live or/and work in the Haringey area.
Flue HQ Limited were selected for the design, supply, installation and pressure testing of the heating and emergency back up generator systems. The project required over 200m of stainless steel flue to go through a whopping 23 storeys!
The product range we selected to serve the 3.No Adveco MD280T boilers was our Twin Wall insulated Flue Pipe, this range is constructed from an inner wall of 0.4mm grade AISI 316L Stainless Steel and a 0.4mm grade 304 external wall. The 30mm void is packed with 128kg/m high density rockwool insulation. The joints are push-fit complete with a tri-lip inner silicone ring for a condensing application.
The flue system was designed to travel almost 15m horizontally through the riser, so we had to ensure a good fall back to the boilers for the unwanted condense to make it's way back to an allocated drain point.
We selected our GEN30+ Flue range to serve 1No. Kohler V500C2 Generator. The range we selected provides a positive pressure resistance of up to 5,000 Pascals.
Our trained installation engineers spent over 100 man hours on this project to insure all systems were installed to all British standards and guidelines.
A pressure test was conducted as requested by the client and recommended by Flue HQ, to insure there were no leaks in the system. It also ensures the system is all together performing as it should. We are pleased to say that like all of our previous systems, this one passed the pressure test.
