We have recently completed the design, supply & installation of a commercial flue system at Halesowen College in the West Midlands. Flue HQ operatives removed the existing, leaking flue system and completed the installation of the new flue system in a very short period of time.
The client was clear with the urgency of this project and we provided around the clock support in order to get the heating back on and to cause as little disruption as possible with the weather being so cold.
The flue selected on this project was our Twin Wall insulated MF condensing flue pipe to serve 1no. water heater.
We calculated the diameter required and issued drawings which were promptly approved.
Termination
The picture to the left is of the termination, to correct calculations were produced to ensure that we could terminate low level and within the correct distances to any openable windows and or air inlets to the college.
Our engineers were working out of hours in order to cause as little disturbance as possible to the students and staff.
