Flue HQ Limited were selected to design, supply & install the flue System at Novotel Hotel in Cambridge.
The project consists of the construction of a new build hotel including Construction of a 217-bedroom 4-star Novotel hotel across 6 storeys with a bar and restaurant, a gym and swimming pool, conference facilities.
Our part of the works was to design, supply, install and test the new flues at the above project. Flue HQ limited completed the works within the time scale and within budget. We worked closely with the M&E company to ensure the project was completed swiftly and safely.
The flue systems installed serve 2x 303kW boilers.
The product range selected for the boilers was our MF stainless steel prefabricated exhaust system complete with an inner silicone ring for the condensing application. The product is capable of holding up to 600° at 200Pa.
Flue HQ worked closely with the client and other tradesmen on this project to overcome
plant room restrictions. We put forward a flue route design to accommodate all high level ducting. This was achieved with the help of bespoke components manufactured by Schiedel Chimney Systems.
