PROJECT COMPLETE - BRIDGE FARM - INDUSTRIAL BIOMASS FLUE SYSTEM, SPALDING

Project name: Bridge Farm Spalding

Project Manager: Nathan Lawley

Flue HQ Limited were selected to design, supply and install 3no. flue systems for 1no. 2.7mw oil burner, 1no. 1.25mw oil burner and 1no. 2.2mw biomass boiler at Bridge Farm. The product range we selected to serve these boilers were our Twin Wall Insulated Flue Pipe.

This range of flue is constructed from an inner wall of 0.5mm grade AISI 316L Stainless Steel and a 0.5mm grade 304 external wall. The 30mm void is packed with 128kg/m high density rockwool insulation. Our TW product gives a positive pressure resistance of up to 200Pa and a continuous high temperature capability of up to 600° independently tested to BS476: Part 24 for 4 hours.

As part of our works we were contracted to undertake all building and roofing works along with final weathering, as well as supplying access in the form of a 12m articulated boom lift for outside the building and a scissor lift for the inside.

Three of our qualified engineers visited site to complete the works for Bridge Farm including a project manager who overlooked the entire operation. Our Engineers followed a 2D CAD drawing on site which was provided by our in-house design team. Our client was also given a full health and safely manual prior to our engineers starting work on the project.
